That thing that our parents beg us for, that thing that friends tell us never to give away.
You know that thing?
It sucks.
I have learned over the years this fact proves to be, ironically, true. It's full of truth. In fact, it is probably the only true thing that anyone can rely on anymore.
There are many 'truths' that we have suffered through. The scars of these sufferings will live on. No matter what. They are there, all the time, wether or not we think they are.
We're hurt. We're broken. We're scared.
We're idiots.
Personally, I have learned to just stop trusting people. Because if you believe that trust comes along with the truth?
You are greatly mistaken my friends.
If anything, its the complete opposite. Trust gives us the excuse to not have to tell the truth. Keep feeding lies. And we'll always accept the lies. Know why?
Because we trust them. But we shouldn't.
